Never Quite
a novel in three parts

Book One
What Is
17-year-old Damon Rutledge feels like he's lost almost everything when he (and what's left of his shattered family) move to the small town of Ryrie, Indiana. But when he stumbles onto the town's big secret—a forest where an unknown danger is destroying people in impossible ways—he starts gaining a collection of secrets he never asked for.

Book Two
What Was
Ryrie, Indiana, hasn't always been this way. Two years before Damon arrived, a teenage girl shared an umbrella. Eighteen years before, a man sat in a forest with a ring. Over a hundred years before, a little girl listened to the birds. And, in each case, their one tiny action put them on a collision-course with Damon that will change everything.

Book Three
What Will Be
Damon has achieved a delicate balance between secrets. But now he sits at a crossroads, trying to avoid taking either of the undesirable paths ahead of him. He is more whole than he's ever been and more alive than he knew he could be—until he finds that those he cares about are at risk of losing more than he ever thought possible.

Support
None of us can pretend that the world isn't a bit of a mess right now. I don't know where we're headed, but some things I know for sure: Never Quite is about hope, forgiveness, and healing—and there has never been a time when more people have needed a book like this.
